Mudgee Uniting Church to host a musical afternoon for Frontier Services
If you’re in the Mudgee area, or fancy a weekend away, Mudgee Uniting church will be hosting a recital on May 21 with proceeds going to Frontier Services.
David Henry, trombonist, will be performing with Aimee Rossler (on piano and flute) and Jacqui Waddell (flute and alto flute).
David has been a professional musician for 36 years, 26 of which were in the Royal Australian Air Force Band. Both Aimee and Jacqui live in rural NSW. Aimee from Coonabarabran and Jacqui from Cherry Tree Hill (near Mudgee). Both are very fine musicians, says David.
David has been doing concerts like this one in rural areas now for the past couple of years and he usually raises $500-$1000 per concert for different charities. He hopes to do the same in Mudgee, so spread the word!
