Marble Bar Youth Program

The Marble Bar Youth Program is a community-driven initiative in the remote Pilbara region of Western Australia, supporting young people from Marble Bar and the nearby Indigenous community of Binya.

Led by Bush Chaplain David Jackson and former local pool manager Kristy Brown, the program provides a safe yarning place where children can learn vital life skills, including financial literacy, healthy eating, personal hygiene, and computer skills.

Through activities like sewing, comic book writing, growing veggies, and cooking traditional meals, the program fosters cultural connection, leadership development, and job readiness.

With continued support, the Marble Bar Youth Program aims to empower the next generation, ensuring young people are equipped to thrive beyond their remote community
