Frontier Services is Australia’s oldest bush charity, founded in 1912 through the vision of Reverend John Flynn. Today, we support people living in rural and remote communities through our national network of Bush Chaplains and dedicated Outback Links volunteers.
We show up when others can’t—providing care, connection, and relief in times of hardship and joy.

The People We Support
People living in rural and remote Australia often face isolation, limited access to essential services, and greater vulnerability to crises. They include farmers, First Nations communities, small-town residents, and those in industries like mining, who can be hundreds of kilometres from the nearest support.
Despite the challenges of distance, extreme weather, and economic hardship, they show remarkable resilience. Frontier Services stands with them, offering practical, emotional, and spiritual care through our Bush Chaplains and Outback Links volunteers, ensuring no one in the bush has to face life’s challenges alone.
