One of the most impactful ways you can support Frontier Services is by pledging a Gift in your Will. It won’t cost anything during your lifetime, but it will help ensure Frontier Services can continue standing with people in the bush, long into the future.
Plenty has changed in rural and remote Australia since the beginning of the 20th century, but some things remain the same.
When Rev John Flynn envisioned a “mantle of safety” to enrich and protect our outback communities, he was responding to an overwhelming need he witnessed firsthand.
Where there are people in the bush struggling with hardship and isolation, our network of Bush Chaplains and Outback Links volunteers, through your legacy, will provide this mantle of safety.
We do not receive direct government funding and rely solely on the funds donated by generous people like you.
One vital source of funding is bequests or Gifts in Wills. These impactful gifts allow us to look into the future and create programs that will continue the work Rev John Flynn began over 110 years ago.
We are also funded by the John Flynn Foundation, our endowment fund. Gifts to the John Flynn Foundation help build a significant reserve which provides a steady and long-term income stream to support our Bush Chaplain program.
Please discuss these options with your family and your solicitor to work out what’s best for you.
We would most appreciate a percentage or residual gift, as these gifts maintain their relative value over time, and will make the greatest impact for those in need.

For leaving a gift in your Will to Frontier Services
I leave to Uniting Church in Australia Frontier Services ABN 77 231 384 646 (Charity Registration Number CCP2822) of Level 4/262 Pitt Street Sydney NSW 2000, [the residue of my estate] or [% percentage of my estate] or [the sum $* specific amount] for its general purposes, and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer or such other authorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to my executors.
For leaving a gift in your Will to the John Flynn Foundation
I leave to the John Flynn Foundation ABN 66 261 841 602 of Level 4/262 Pitt Street Sydney NSW 2000, [the residue of my estate] or [% percentage of my estate] or [the sum $* specific amount] and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer or such authorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to my executors.
