Leaving a Bequest

Leave a gift in your will

Making a Will, or leaving a bequest, is one of the most important decisions you can make in your life. It ensures that your wishes are carried out and that the values you hold most deeply live on through the work of others – such as the work of Frontier Services – after your death. Frontier Services needs to raise millions of dollars each year to continue the work begun by Rev. John Flynn in 1912. Providing community support and recovery, volunteering and pastoral support to people across remote Australia.

You can leave a percentage of your estate which then allows for inflation; or you can leave a specific amount of money, you can leave property, shares, superannuation, or other items of value.

You can also make Frontier Services a “residual beneficiary” which means that after any specific individuals are cared for, Frontier Services can receive the remainder of your estate.

How do I leave a gift in my Will?

If you would like your gift to go to the general work of Frontier Services which includes Bush Chaplaincy and our volunteer program, Outback Links then please include the following words: “I give and bequeath the sum of, a percentage of, or other such provision…, free of all duties to the Uniting Church in Australia Frontier Services.”

Please reference the ABN number 77 231 384 646.
