A new year in the Outback

A new year in the Outback

A new year is here, bringing fresh opportunities and renewed hope for families across rural and remote Australia. Thanks to your generosity, 2024 was a year of resilience and connection, and now in 2025, we look forward to building on that momentum.

Your kindness has already made an incredible impact. You’ve helped children in the outback access better educational opportunities. Many young people in remote areas face significant social and educational barriers due to isolation, but through your support, we are helping to bridge that gap. Whether it’s ensuring access to learning materials, supporting programs that encourage social connection, or helping fund services that keep young minds engaged, you are creating brighter futures.

You’ve also helped people like Barbara*, a widow who faced the daunting reality of living alone on her remote property with only her dog for company. Through Frontier Services, she found companionship, practical help, and a renewed sense of security.

And your support extends even further—to Bush Chaplains like Peter Harvey, who provide comfort and guidance to those facing hardship in some of the most isolated corners of Australia. In West Coast Tasmania, Peter is not only a listening ear but also a trusted presence in the community, ensuring that no one feels alone.

As we move forward into 2025, we are filled with hope and gratitude. Together, we can continue to create new beginnings for families, children, and individuals across the outback.
