Don’t miss November Frontier News

FN Nov14

November Frontier News is out now.

This edition, we focus on growing up in remote Australia and the challenges and blessings for children in the bush.

In the magazine, we take a look inside the RAFS kit boxes provided to isolated families in Queensland so parents can help their children learn through play. We hear from two mothers about what it means to juggle the demands of life on an outback station with the education of young children. They speak about the good work of the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) in advocating to give remote children an equal footing when it comes to education. Many of our Patrol Ministers work alongside the ICPA to ensure kids are getting the best start.

You will love reading about one mother’s experience of raising twins in the bush, as well as a fantasic program empowering young people in Meekatharra in WA through weekly bike riding sessions. There’s a inspiring story about the school boys from Green Point Christian College who have the experience of a lifetime travelling from the Central Coast of NSW to volunteer in the outback.

You can also see our wonderful range of Christmas Gift Cards and place an order before Christmas.
