Outback Links has matched 13 families with volunteer help since the program relaunched at the beginning of the month, and more assistance is on the way.

With the program back in operation, volunteers are responding with enthusiasm and eagerness to get out and help, while families and individuals have expressed how thankful they are to know they can call on Frontier Services’ volunteers.

Outback Links has placed volunteers with 13 families or individuals who needed an extra set of hands to help with everything from urgent household repairs, to assisting with homework to rounding up sheep.

In more good news, another 200 people have registered to volunteer with Outback Links after hearing about the program through the Frontier Services’ partnership with Buy A Bale.

We are very grateful to the volunteers and to the families and individuals in remote Australia who been in touch to share their enthusiasm for the program and their willingness and energy to be involved as Outback Links begins a new era.
