The NRMA has joined forces with Frontier Services Outback Links to connect volunteers with people in rural and remote Australia in need of a helping hand. This September, skilled mechanics will head out bush in support of drought-affected farmers in north-western New South Wales.
When times get tough in the bush, people feel increasingly isolated. Our farmers tell us that what gets them through is knowing there are people out there for them. People like our incredible Outback Links volunteers. But we need your help to keep our volunteering program going for another year…
Our farmers have endured so much for so long. But what’s getting them through is knowing that other people are there for them. People who care and people who are willing to give them a hand up. We’re so grateful for our incredible Outback Links volunteers who brought helpful hands and hope to farmers in and around Moree (NSW) during a recent trip.
